Bit Pricey - you can get a pre-paid Digimobile eSIM that gives you almost the same data for 10€

I don't live in Spain, but I'm there pretty regularly. My EE plan includes EU roaming at no extra cost, but I'm finding it difficult as a lot of Spanish companies including my bank want a Spanish phone number, not a UK one. 

I'm planning on using an old iPhone 8 I have to leave out in Spain and obtain a Spanish SIM card. Don't need it for outgoing calls, just incoming.

If you google it, there’s lots of deals. Look at Lebara. Normally 5€ a month, offers now half that price. That’s just one example. 

If it's only for receiving calls, the cheapest option is Simyo. They have a 0 contract, which means, a phone contract with no data, no minutes and no costs. And if you're here in Spain, you can change your tariff to whatever you want and go back to 0 when you don't need anything no more.

Thanks for that, but I think for 3 euro a month I'd rather have a few minutes and some data included.I plan on only using it for incoming calls, but you never know when you may need to make a call or go online on a spare phone.

Hi. If it helps I don’t have a Spanish telephone number. I use my uk mobile. I pay all my utility bills by direct debit and so far not  had any problems just yet fingers crossed. They all do have my email address though
