Revolut do give the actual interbank exchange rate and not a mid rate, today for example I have got 1.1682

I’ve just had a rate exchange alert for it topping 1.17 😀

It moves all day long, unusually in an upward trend at the moment.

I've used WeSwap for over 3 years and think they are excellent. The process of adding cash to the card is simple (few clicks from your UK debit card) and then you choose your currency. Rates are good and they have low commission rates for immediate, 3 day and 7 day swaps. I recommended 5 friends and get zero commission on 7 day swaps for life.  We have a Spanish bank account and use TransferWise to move money for bills only. All day to day spend is on the WeSwap card as I don't trust the Spanish banks and they do charge for transactions.  The latest cards are contactless and you have an online account to manage your spending.  As with most pre-paid debit cards you may not use it for pre-authorised terminals such as motorway tolls or ticket machines on the railway, but everywhere else it works fine.
