People in cars
Is it still true that only one person can travel in a car to go to the supermarket today 28th April. Thanks Paul
yes there should only be one person in the car but if the driver can't do the shopping then they can carry a member of the family to do it, carry any proof you have of health problems to show guardia if stopped. Some husbands may have to go shopping for the first time and leave the wife at home!

Stories/posts regarding two people in a car being stopped and fined €600, difficult situation but read everything you can but wherever possible one person per car, another problem might be shopping for a friend/neighbour, how do you prove you're just helping both in and out of the supermarket ??
One person in the car but this morning in El Prado de Arboleas, four Guardia in the same car, No masks.

Some of the posts on the forum are incredible: this is an example. Police and health staff are doing essential work. They are not banned from sitting in a car together! Any more than a demand that nurses and doctors in hospital have to stay a metre apart at all times 😊
Secondly, masks are useful only for workers in repeated close contact with people (like supermarket cashiers) and for those caring for a sick individual with Coronavirus. There is no requirement to wear one otherwise, despite some choosing to wear one all the time.

Your kidding right? You DO understand the meaning of “essential services” don’t you?
Police are an essential service as they are the ones ensuring idiots don’t break quarantine because they don’t really believe it applies to them, or that this pandemic is really that serious. They are essential in now setting up checkpoints on autovías and stopping and turning back Madrileños who see the quarantine as permission to head to their holiday homes here. They are essential services in putting their health at risk, to try and ensure ours isn’t put at risk.....

So sorry to hear that. We know the pandemic mainly threatens the lives of over 70s but we can easily forget that some younger citizens/public safety officials can also die from it.
