Cookers and stoves

I have noticed by visiting properties and looking online, that all cookers/stoves are ALL eletric!

I would LOVE to know whether or not my husband and I can change to a gas cooker in the area of Mojacar and Los Gallardos where we are looking to buy and live there permanently.

Can someone advise us also where to find nice furniture etc nearby. We love solid wood, nice durable and also good quality modern things.

I am so used to gas cooking and also DOUBLE bowls sinks but every property in the area seems to have a single bowl, small kitchens sometimes and small eletric cooker.

Hi. sure you can get gas cookers here, all shapes and sizes from free standing to set in worktop.You will then need gas bottles (no mains gas here) they are easy to get and connect up, We run a worktop gas with 5 rings working great

Mains gas is available in Los Gallardos on the Huerta Nueva development, in Mojacar and Turre you would need to rely on bottled gas.
