Change of address on driving licence

You don’t need to physically change address on licence or TIE, BUT … you do have to notify CNP and DGT of change of address.

I had a link where you could change address for DGT / CNP / TGSS / AEAT all in one go - let me see if I can dig it up and post here

I used the above link myself to successfully change address with the various bodies - BUT - it takes about 1 month for your new Empadronimiento to take effect and be accessible by the above entities.

        So what address should we give if our home address (we don't get mail deliveries) is not where our mail goes

For both CNP and DGT, you are required to provide a physical address - the address specified on your (new) Padrón as you will have to register that change of address with the Ayuntamiento.

Neither DGT nor CNP send any confirmation out, so no need for postal address, but when you go through the site above, you get email confirmation of application
