HITS mobile pay as you go, using a flip phone and not needing data or a contract. Just heard I have to change to Masmobile, but cannot see the equivalent pay as you go facility, only switching to a contract. big difference from around 20 euros a year to 12 euros a month. Maybe I am missing something? Any enlightenment welcomed.

Hi,
I had a pay as you go Hits sim card which didn't cost me very much every year.
I had the same message as you and went into a mobile shop in Vera and has a Masmovil sim card put into my phone.
You get 1 month free then it appears that the cheapest contract is 5 euros a month so 60 euros per year. Probably more than I was paying but have no choice as I wanted to retain my current number.

Digi Mobile do a €3 per month contract but also on prepay. I know you don't need data but includes 100 mins of calls per month.
You can pick up a SIM in lots of shops and transfer your existing number.
Admittedly more expensive than you are currently paying but it seems like the best offer around at the moment.
