I posted on the Mojacar page and told what happened to me.  Shocking.  I was quoted £125 each for my two.   Long story, they came back and said it would be done out of hours! not my fault, and the price would now be £1000 !    There’s a guy, called Guy, in Portsmouth ,...

... Passpets , got an appointment and cost is £99 first dog ,£50 each one after that !

ta 4 the reply and yes that was shocking

Cheers for the reply, it was helpful and kind of you,  how did you manage to get the animal certificates in French? as we need them in Spanish and French I presume. Have safe trip yourselves. Cheers Gaz

You only need them in the first entry points language so French and it’s the way the Official vet fills in the form, you would have told your vet you were going into France. You don’t need one for every country you go to.  Just First landing point

I thought you said you had your dogs certificate already so what language did your vet do it in? It’s just that when the vet applies for the unique Certificate number from APHA, that ties the cert to your dog , at that point the vet has to say what Country you are landing in First.  So your vet will have asked you and just went ahead i’m assuming .

As someone already stated you just need it in French, that's your entry point. Our vet is producing the paperwork, certificate etc 10 days before we travel.

Can I ask what the disclaimer involves please, do you have to download anything ?I would maybe have to go back through France and know they Always want more lol.

Goto this link and at the bottom of the page see Statement of Honour and download and complete it. It's very straight forward.

I would get it done before the 10 days as you Must leave the country by then.  !  I’m getting mine 3 days before we sail so I will have another 7 days in which to leave the country as   Our ferry could cancel or anything ,of course it’s valid for 4 months which makes Having to leave within 10 days ridiculous

Thanks L181SKY, My error and my grammar! I'm reminded by my wife ours will be done on the 17th  3 days before travel. I meant to about the 10 days travel period. Thanks for pointing it out though.

Lol. It’s just So difficult and I’d hate to see anyone not get away. We have all been through the mill.  I just saw someone here this morning mention the NHS cert QR being out of date after a month.   and I had forgotten to update ours !  We sail on the 14th Sept !  Dodged a bullet there !     What the Heck can that be about.  The certificate says Exactly the same things all the time. Hoops for hoops sake 🙈🤷‍♀️

Hi, we're part way through France heading for La Alfoquia having travelled on Eurotunnel yesterday. We had our vaccine certificates ready together with the 'statement of honour' that the French authorities say they want. We filled out some forms on the Eurotunnel website to state we had been double jabbed etc but nobody asked to see any of our paperwork other than our 2 passports at any of the desks and it was so quiet on the roads in Kent and at the terminal that we arrived early and drove on the train 2 hours before our booked time.

We have been asked to show our vaccine certificates when we've been eating at motorway services and restaurants.
