Rent first. Do your homework. Learn all there is to know. It obviously depends on what you are used to and the lifestyle you want. It is all avail in Almeria and to suit all budgets. Too many fantastic places and so varied. Hard to choose. The secrets out, sadly .

San Juan De Los Terreros. A hidden Gem of of a place. Plenty of restaurants and a great Irish Bar where the expat community have quizzes and gather.
The beaches are fantastic here. It’s used all year around by the Spanish as their own bolt hole so does not have the excesses of little England.
GRUPO Platinum are a great estate agent for what you need.
