Hi everyone,

I have very stupidly run out of my medication and need to find a private doctor to write a prescription for me. I have proof that the medication I need was prescribed for me in the UK.

Can anyone recommend an English speaking Doctor in Albox, Arboleas, Zurgena….. I am able to travel.

It’s not an emergency situation but as soon as possible would be good!

Thanks in advance

Linda

You normally need an appointment, but they are very helpful, if a doctor is free they will see you.

Ask in the chemist first.  Lots of meds are available here without prescription that would require one in the UK.  That way you'll save the consultation fee which is probably 50 euro.

Take your uk prescription to chemist, most drugs are quite cheap. Beware blood thinners cost me 80 euro

Hi LosPardoslady,

I did try the chemist first but I need Amitriptyline for nerve pain and was advised that I needed a prescription. I went to Docthos in Albox but I have to wait until next Tuesday to see a Doctor before I can be given a prescription. Not the result I was hoping for but better than nothing!

Kind regards

Linda

Hi jtp890,

Unfortunately I don’t have a prescription, just the second part of it which shows the meds you have previously been prescribed, but thank you for replying.

Kind regards
