... some back and forward and some permanent. As regards uk law and order it’s no better in Spain ,openly selling drugs and break ins on regular basis . And I’m sure the odd rip off on motoring offences ( cash please ) . Keep it fun and informative . Costs nowt to be nice . Take care be safe everyone.    Half way thru my quarantine 👍

...ull time and also claim for invalidity etc etc it annoys me a lot we do everything above board and i feel from 01.01. 2021 the Spanish will en force  this more so and quite right

i agree we should all enjoy the fruits in SPain but also follow any rules as we should doe

those are the people that i will be glad to see the back of 

as regards to the Spanish way of policing , thatts theri way i have always respected the law where ever i have lived and dont have any problems with that , as for break ins etc well it is a lot better to live in Spain in my opinion at least if they are caught here there is a deterant unlike in the UK

i answered this thread to try to explain to a person that Spain is a great place to live and that their dream to move here should not be affected , but unfortunatley people seem to ill advise such people and almost scare monger them

we looked into the self employed scheme ( Atonamo) and the payments start in the first year at 80 euros then 125 euros in the next 6 months then 205 until the end of year 2 then in year 3 it peaks at 306 euros plus a monthly payment to your accountant of approx 37 euros 

the monthly total is now 343 euros per month, BUT this allows you and your partner to work leagally in Spain , your accountant will do your Spanish tax return once a year whether you work or not, but you can work anywhere , even for a company and it is legal, yes it sounds a lot of money but what do you get in return

you and your partner get the full Spanish NHS card for any treatment you may require,  and to bear in mind the Spanish NHS is a country mile than the UK one , all you need is an interprater you only pay approx 10 percent of 

your prescriptions if you have any 

when we got ours we started to work part time and this pays for the payments above so if done right it can work
