Hi everyone,

Even though we have just arrived, we will need to return to the UK for a few days, possibly a quite short notice and need to find kennels for our two elderly staffies. English speaking staff would be a bonus!
Also, I understand I need to report to a vet to have our dogs checked out as they are regarded as a dangerous breed in Spain. Again an English speaking vet would be an advantage as my Spanish is still at a very basic level.

Thanks in advance!
kind regards

Linda

Nexo in Albox is excellant and they all speak english. If your dogs are regarded as dangerous breed then they have to be muzzled when you take them out.

Hi Jenny

thank you for the information, I will definitely check Nexo out. I have already bought muzzles for my dogs. If you knew them you would laugh at them being branded as dangerous dogs but the rules are the rules.

Kind regards

I Know, Spain has some funny ideas about dogs.  The other thing you might not be aware of is that you have to carry poo bags in your pocket at all times, it the Gardia stop you and you haven't got them you will be fined.

We have a poo bag dispenser attached to their leads. I had read somewhere on the forum that the Guardia were quite hot on this. But hey, we should all be picking up after our pets anyway so it’s no bad thing 😄

James and Tanya at WOODHOUSE kennels. They have loads experience with dogs like yours. They also have a huge fenced area for exercising off the lead .Tel 0711067893
