I was interested in this too and saw they sell it on Amazon but it states that it is TOXIC to dogs! The cost is just over 6 euros for 500ml.  There are plenty to choose from on Amazon.es including Round Up.

About the strong herbicides being banned unless you have proof of having done a course in their safe use - that is true if you are buying large containers for agriculture, but in the small quantities for domestic gardens you can still find the more lethal stuff without going on a special course....

...

Thank you I will bear that in mind

Well we have 2 dogs and have been using this for a couple of years now so the stuff on Amazon is not the same Im sure. We buy it from the pet store just outside Los Gallardos  and they wouldnt sell it if it was dangerous to dogs.

Hi everyone, does anyone have any recomendations for a good weedkiller please?

We have a holiday home in the campo and everytime we get there, (not that we can at present) we have to fight our way to the front door. Everything we have tried so far has been rubbish and the weeds, those harsh grasses, are almost as tall as I am....

...

Has anyone had any luck please?

Thanks

Is there a local goatherder? if so speak to him he will gladly let his goats eat it (while you are away)they are very efficient and a greener alternative

That's a good idea too if it's a drive or paddock with no  cherished plants because they will eat most of them too, if the the rabbits haven't got there first!

Good choice, as there is no such thing as a 'dog friendly weed killer '  the ones that they sell might not harm them immediately but prolonged exposure to it will eventually kill them, they are all carcinogenic, and we all know how dogs love to sniff and lick the ground. Also think of the wild life, by using these toxic weed killers you are poisoning the earth and everything that lives in it. weeks ago someone on here posted a recipe for  a home made weed killer, that works. not sure how you would find it, perhaps someone with more knowledge than me can find it and re post it.

Thanks Jenni,

I would be very cautious as we have two young dogs but the homemade one involved used cigarette butts soaked in water.

Im willing to try anything as long as the animals are safe. X
