Very wise move, opens up cheaper shorter trip if fly to Murcia, Almeria or Alicante (bit further out). Alicante has buses which will take you to Murcia then change for Huercal Overa.
Albox is not the best place to be if you don't want to drive, unless your villa is near all amenities such as banks, supermarkets and chemists. I don't believe that there is a good local bus service for outlying areas to Albox centre. A better centre to be would be Huercal Overa or Vera for non drivers, and no areas on the fringe of either.

Thank you, we will be driving when we get there its just the fact that we didn't want to jump straight on to the motorway when we arrive, because we wont be taking our dog this time we will fly into Almeria which will be much better, thank you for the advice on other areas x
