Hi all, as I have posted, we will be coming over in October. On the 19th to be exact. I would like to have my house fumigated before we get there. Our house has been empty for quite a while, and has old animal shelters at the rear of the property. Has anyone had experience of cockroaches/pests? Is there a pest control company that you’re using? If so can you advise. Thanks M and S.

Hi All, we have bought a property in tijola and it is in need of some work , some things we can do ourselves however the property needs white washing /painting and I’m wondering of costing. Do the painters charge per Sq metre ?. Or per day or how is is calculated. ?we are also thinking of an outdoor stairs from one terrace down to another.. is there a local company that could quote us for this ? Thanks ..

Looking to get a mortgage to buy a property here.

I have a £100000.00 property but would like to rent this out and secure a mortgage (100%) against this up to €57000.00 (£50000.00)

The rental would be £750 (€855.00) so I believe this is more than ample for a mortgage.

Any quotes on just this information would be welcome.
