Hi, can anyone advise please. 

We came out to Tijola in December to view what we thought was our perfect property but lost out on it. Our house in England will be on the market next week and is expected to sell fairly quickly.

We are looking for a 3 bed, 2 bath country house on one level, preferably all in great condition and fully fenced. With solar panels (or somewhere to put them), connected to all main services, a pool, outdoor kitchen, outdoor sitting areas, fruit trees, somewhere for chickens and somewhere to grow our own food - don't want much do we! But this is what the other property had so we're hoping there'll be another one for us somewhere! We would also like a productive olive grove or an alternative method of making an income.

We are happy to look around a much wider area and would love it if you could let us know if you have seen or heard of anything that you think may suit us.

We are due to travel to Malaga on Friday 3rd Dec to view a property in Tijola. I am having sooo much difficulty filling in the PLC forms! I have started one for myself but am unable to continue OR start a new form due to some glitch. I also started one for my husband and got as far as the type of COVID-19 certificate he has - he has a non-smart phone so will have to print off a copy - not really sure what to enter here. A friend also advised that these cost around £35 each, is this true?

I would be so grateful if someone could advise - in baby language - how/where to complete these forms please and/or how to get back into the forms I have already started - or how to cancel them and start again.

We have recently purchased a house in Higueral which comes under Tijola council. We cannot ask our neighbours about local information as our Spanish is non existent for now....shame on us!, and we have yet to see our neighbours.

Does anyone know if there are english speaking people at the Town Hall in Tijola, and also what is the best company for Internet in the area?

We haven't moved in yet but on visits we noticed there doesn't appear to be any dishes on the roofs only Spanish TV ariels ???

I suspect we will be the only English in the village so time to get learning....
