Hey there

Cam anyone tell me what they have in Tijola as we are coming over on the 14th November to look at a few properties! I have four under 5 grandchildren who really only need a pool but our property if we buy it  doesn't have one. Also I'm a bit of a social butterfly and never relax unlike my hubby who is happy reading a good book. So is there plenty to do?

Look forward to some replys

Like most pueblos Tijola has it's own open air pool which opens for a couple of months in the summer. Cela Embalsa is where the Spanish go to swim the rest of the year. Tijola is a residential Spanish pueblo and is quiet except at fiesta times. There are a few bars and restaurants.Tijola is surrounded by hills and it is a farming area.

As per the reply from Barbara if you are as you describe yourself then I think you may find Tijola a little quiet for your liking. We have been here since May and we love it and have a lovely circle of friends. If you have time and would like to meet for a coffee we would be happy to pass on our experiences to you

Hi Jacqui

There's a place called Bar Secreto on the main road A334. It's a white building on the opposite side to the Guardia station. We'll be there from 4pm. I'm blonde he's silver grey! 😀

Hi that's perfect! I'm dark I'll have my hair up and I'll probably have a pink Mac on in this weather 😳

Thank you for taking the time

Hi, my husband and I are very interested in a property in Tijola and are almost convinced to take the plunge and move! We are not at retirement age yet and, although the property has olive and fruit trees, we need to earn a living (we are not good at Spanish yet). I am currently a Civil Servant and my husband works in a pharmacy. Can anyone please advise on how easy it is to make a living and what kind of work is available. I have worked in farming and he was a recording engineer but we're happy to try anything. Thank you

Hi. Are you EU citizens? If not it will be difficult to get a work visa.
