I'm not resident but perhaps someone who is would like to raise this with the Council. I'm sure the gardening team are doing their best but to have planted small cacti with long needles in the landscaped strip between the cycle path and walkway on the promenade is surely a health and safety hazard.

I have been here a month and every other day or so have been running from the Red Cross to the Mojacar Best Hotel and back. In that time, on two separate occasions, I've seen toddlers reined back by their parents as they stumble into this area; and if you're elderly and unsure on your feet you'd injure yourself terribly if you fell onto a cactus the size of a football with 6-centimetre-long needles.

Spanish personal-injury lawyers will have a field day, too, should the Council need further incentive to reconsider the planting scheme. 

There are plenty of succulents and other plants that could be safely planted there instead.

I am thinking about bring a hot tub from the UK but when it arrives I need to lift it over a 10 foot wall at the front of my property. Does anyone know where I can hire a small mobile crane or hiab truck from. Look forward to hearing from you. 

Just to say yesterday we came home to find a parrot on our railings by our flat and managed to catch it and return it to the owner a little girl who lives in Garrucha.  It had been lost for 3 days and earlier in the day had landed on my husbands head while he was sitting on our balcony.  Very lucky parrot as the family of Kites that live by the lighthouse would have killed him off if he had gone any higher from the level of our block.

My husband needs a new watch strap is there anywhere in Mojacar Vera or true please.

As new to area & only begining Spanish lessons don't want be at any garages mercy or ripped off
