Let’s keep Mojácar as safe as we can !

This was from one of the residents on my urbanisation yesterday. Be careful and vigilant 🙏

Good afternoon everyone. Just for everyone's attention. We have just witnessed an attempt robbery on the promenade opposite Best Indalo Pueblo. A female aged about 20yrs attempted to wrip a watch from the wrist of an English man with his wife. A struggle took place and she ran to a waiting car with at least 2 in. She did not get the watch but the man and wife were very distressed. She is sallow skinned Mediterranean looking. The car was small, black, possibly Opel Corsa. The car was driven by a male with a rear seat passenger. Everyone be safety conscious when out.

If we all share this enough they will be recognised and hopefully stop anyone else being targeted !

The last sentence of Londoncabbie's post is the important one and kudos to him for posting it to highlight what happened in broad daylight on a busy Paseo. 

These people will strike again on some innocent and vulnerable person. Be extra aware, have the telephone number of the Policia Local on fast-dial and be smart enough to take a picture of the getaway car too. These low lifes need to be arrested, charged, jailed and exposed.
