Hello all, 

We are looking at retirement in Spain, Chirivel has sparked an interest to us as a place to live, we were just wondering what the day to day life in Chirivel was like, for instance is there local bars restaurant in or near Chirivel, does Chirivel have a chemist or supermarket,  if not where is the nearest town with all the amenities, also is there an ex pat community in the area.

We are also sports fans and would like to support any local football or Rugby teams if any.

I am moving to Chirivel from anither province in Spain and i will need help with padron, changing addresses on TIE,driving license etc. Does anyone know if there is someone who can deal wuth this?

Do you, or did you ever Run or Jog? Why not try Hashing?

Hashing is a non-competitive, social event, where members have fun, can have a drink and maybe get a bit of exercise. Our group, ‘Indalo Hash House Harriers (IH3)’ is just one of almost 2000 hash groups throughout the world. We hash anywhere from the coast around Mojácar to Vélez Blanco in the mountains.

Being non-competitive, you can run, jog, stroll or stagger, whether you’re a teenager or getting on a bit, you can join in. The basic aim of the hash is to HAVE FUN, and at the same time encourage a bit of exercise, without over doing it. We welcome all shapes and sizes, in all stages of degeneration. The routes are not long and we don’t go fast, we only jog/run on the easy bits and walk on the hard ones, the hash is only as fast as its slowest runner.
