Can I ask why are Villas in Arboleas so reasonably priced, is it prone to flooding or is it because the weather is not as good there

We are a mid 50s semi retired couple looking to move to a semi rural area of Arboleas but within a 10 minute walking distance of a local shop/bar restaurant. Is there such an area, although we will have a car it would be nice to walk occasionally. We plan spending 2 months in March April 2021 to find our way around but waiting until the uk leaves the EU end of this year to understand what rights we will have as a non EU resident buying in Spain. If you have any thoughts or wisdom you can share, we would be grateful, thank you Teresa & Alan

Hi, we have recently moved to La Cinta and one of our cats has gone missing... he is an old ginger cat, very talkative, with most of his teeth missing and a bit skinny. Hi thanks for letting me join the forum

My wife and I currently live just outside a small village on the Costa Blanca but are looking to relocate to this area and found some nice Villas that look suitable for our requirements, however we have only visited Mojacar previously on several occasions and liked what we have seen.

I have looked on this forum and seen many comments that state that it's like 'little Britain' which funnily enough was how some people referred to our present location as becoming, but wanted to know if this really was the case or that just more foreigners who are British have been moving into the area recently?

We are coming down for a week in September and have seen properties around Arboleas and the surrounding villages, we want urban but not community and are looking for a mix of Spanish (I can get by on very basic Spanish) and foreigners not just British, so we are looking for some honest opinions of the area please
