Doctors prescription

Can any one help, I am on holiday near Arboleas and I need some antibiotics. The chemist cannot give them out without a prescription, and told me to go to Centro Medical in Albox, which I did, but closed, but notice said, opens at 16-05, (it also said more, but I could only make out times of opening), went back, still closed. Does any one know where I can get a prescription to take to the chemist. I look forward to any help given. Many thanks. Margaret

You need to get (and pay for) a private prescription from a private doctor then take that to a farmacia.

Just google, Private Doctor near me and you should find one that can do the prescription for you.

Alternatively, you could go to the urgencias at the health centre and use your Ehic card if you are a visitor. Take your passport and if you don't speak sufficient Spanish use Google translate and write down what your problem is or you can use say hi an app that will translate the spoken word.

Sorry forgot to say the health centre in Albox is showing open 24/7 on Google. Don't live close enough to know if this is accurate though. On our health centre the door may be closed but you ring the bell and someone comes to speak to you. Hope you get sorted out
