many thanks Alex, looking forward to comming over and just hope the property meets my needs.

Being a Fishing village, does the environment have the associated smell, plenty of sea gulls screaming away :-)

Only the salty smell of the sea. Funnily enough ive not noticed any seagulls and my apartment is only 75m from one of the small ports.

If you haven't decided on a property yet. Fotocasa is a good site as is kyero.com. I've viewed most properties available as considering buying another investment property.

Btw for currency exchange I use currenciesdirect. Can recommend Michelle in the Mojacar office.

Regards Alex

Hey how was your weekend? The weather was a bit miserable the weekend you were over. Did you find a property?

Hi Alex,

Torrential rain all the way driving down from Mercia, lightning and thunder, great fun and hadnt driven on that side of the road sine my teens!

Yes the property was good and have put in an offer which the agents believe will be accepted. However, although the services have been in the apartment before, they have not been so for around 4 years as the property has been empty.

I need a certtificate of habitation which the seller does not have and the Town hall are unlikely to have a copy as the seller has owned the apartment for around 20 years and never got one.

Looks like a wasted trip as have spoken to four solicitors who have advised that I will have great difficulty getting the services back on without this certificate and would struggle to sell on the property if i wished to in later years.

Can anyone throw any light on the subject please?

anyone know if i can getr the services on without the dertificate and then apply for one?

Thanks

Stephen
