Can anyone tell me if there is in the Vera / Vera Playa / Mojácar / Garrucha / Turre area a repairer of shoes?  Came to Garrucha because one listed there - Jose Manuel / but …. Closed, appears has been closed for a while and shows no signs of any reopening.

I can’t find anything listed in Mojácar or even the Centro Comercial.  The one in Vera closed a couple of years ago.

Anybody got a shoe repair shop they’d like to share?  (Doesn’t need to be English speaking)

Hi, there was a cobbler in Mojacar that I used a year ago, think they’re still there.   The shop is located in the little shopping area at the side of Spanish Property Choice, where the Paws Patas shop is (opposite the Parque Comercial).

I found the place … but they are now a locksmiths only.  The person who repaired shoes retired two years ago.

And so - an open note to any persons skilled in shoe repair out there who are looking to move to Spain.  There is a MASSIVE gap in the market for anyone who wants to set up shop as a cobbler!!

Oh Dario! Sorry to hear that! My apologies!

Someone has taken the sole out of the shop then! ;-)

Hi Dario we have used Jose Manuel a few times this year latterly about end of June. They gave no indication then that they were shutting down, maybe just shut up shop for Summer hols. Might be worth checking if they’re back open at end of August / beginning of September. We drive past fairly regularly if they’re open again I’ll post here.
