Looking For Old PC - Win 7, Win 8, Sata Era

If you have an old PC like this gathering dust, I'd be very grateful for the help we can give to him with this repair work.

All that's needed is the main sata era CPU box (tower), NOT keyboard, monitor etc. If you have an older Win7/Win8 PC like this gathering dust, I'd be very grateful for the help we can give to him with this repair work.

Unfortunately a lot of people are 1) very used to the older style software that still works well, and 2) really cannot afford to keep throwing money at the big corporations forever.

As an aside, talking of backup, you’ll note Google Drive stopped support for anything other than Windows 10 and up and that the Google Drive app stopped working on older computers.

As I do a lot of work between three different computers, I needed reliable storage / cloud services.  I can definitely recommend PCloud if anyone is looking - I swapped to it and it works with Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11.  It’s also much more stable than Google Drive, presents your folder...
