Hi Pierre,

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

You are so well informed with knowledge of this accident etc and plutonium etc regarding the consequences.

I dont think you have bought far enough away .  If there was any danger you would be in the zone too.

Produce would be contaminated wouldn't it?  By what you are saying it most positively is a very dangerous area to live in .

Dud you post this just to get some kicks out of it ?

Intelligence sometimes can be dangerous used wrongly .

Hi Pierre, we also have heard the stories and it seems only Palamores  was where the Americans had the bomb/nuke incident, there is loads of info on Google so you dont need to listen to old wives tales as its there in black and white, we have lived on the outskirts of Vera town for the last 4 years, no problems peaceful no immediate neighbors, and what your looking for is plentiful but be very carful as people tend to put there own prices on their property, some because they bought before the collapse of house prices so they have a house that is worth less than what they paid, and some because they are moving back to the uk so the actual value of their property sale would not buy a house in the uk, and some think their house is special and worth more than the market value, we looked for years and came up against all this, however you can still get a real bargain, seems we cant reccomend the estate agents we used on the forum as its promoting their business though only trying to help you, and some estate agents are really pushy they want the commission, I would not buy in palamores but lots of people have, we found what you are looking for at a reasonable price so lots exist, if you like the beach then Turre is nice, Mojacar is touristy, Garrucha fishing port is nice, Villaricos harbour is nice, surrounding areas of Vera town only 10 mins drive to the nearest beach venue, and lots more, the further you go in land the cheaper but a hassle if you like the coast because of distance,

hope that helped, look carefully and do your home work, visit on holiday and have a good look around,

all the Best Mel.
