Hi my husband and I are looking to buy a place in urbanisation Mar Mediterráneo san juan de los terreros.

We wanted to know what is was like living there - it seems a little more isolated from the rest of SJT

Is the walk ok to the beach and town? I have elderly parents who will be visiting. There also seem to be a lot of property for the sale - wanted to ask if there were any particular issues to be aware of with the urbanisation. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you referring to Mar De Pulpi? If so, I spent three weeks there last month and currently buying a property there, it absolutely heaven and only 3km to SJDt. Good luck

Hi Hilgri

Lovely to hear that Mar De Pulpi is a great place. I wanted to get a view of the urbanisation on avenida mar mediterraneo the little white houses in SJDLT. Has anyone stayed there or knows of it - it would be lovely to know if this was a good place to live or if it has any known issues

Only that there are two areas, and that both seem to have very well tended gardens. There seem to be a big selection of property, some, tiny and others a bit bigger.

Have you seen them in person?

If its the ones with the green roof, they are nice and nicely tended gardens. If I remember the outside open but some have hedges. We looked there years ago but opted for another as there were not many options. Its not far from the beach through a nature track. There is a good estate agent (guys name is Sabas) in the town next to the beauty saloon (opposite the bar) a you head towards the beach.

We have not been back for a while now but hoping soon but cannot get caught due to elderly mum if it goes onto red list. Good luck happy house (well casa) hunting.

You are asking about Mar Tirreno ! no its not the green tops its the pyramid on the old golf course yes its a little way from the village but a lovely stroll also,  very peaceful and quiet  just far enough from the village, but not a lot if propery for sale, they get snapped up, as they have the best views of  San Juan,
