Plays Old hits UK/USA. has 80 in title

Could possibly be Spectrum FM with one of their specialist stations. Could be Spectrum Gold.Doubt it would be streaming if you heard it in the hire car but plenty of online 80's channels.

Thanks for that, it seems my memory is worse than I thought, the station name ends in 40 not 80, must have been on double helpings that day. The program is in fact being transmitted from the local vhf tower, Radio Torreros and does not have an internet presence. I suspect jt is a relay for the main station ending **40 and they could well have. For the moment I have it in the car but would like to take the link, if such exists, back to the uk to add to my list. For anyone who is old enough to remember and active enough to care I offer keepfreemusic.com only the 60's, my musical introduction to the rest of my life.

Try looking at this..... LOS40. This is a radio station that plays all sorts of classic hits.
