Hi Anna

it sounds idyllic, do you mind me asking what village would be 3 mins drive to the sea, would that be Pulpi?

Hi Steve

Pilar de Jaravia, Pulpi. It's where the largest geode in Europe was found and has been open to the public quite recently. (Google it!)

We love it here and you Aguilas is 10 minutes away by car and a great place to visit.

Pilar de Javaria is a lovely village just a few minutes 4 or perhaps 5km up the hill from the main roundabout on the beach road in San Juan de Terreros .

Botas bar restaurant , medical Center open one hour daily, little novel railway station ,Mundo Aguilian golf course next door, mountain back drop to village and from most properties  with rooftop solariums/terrace or from upper floor windows, views of the sea at Terreros and also the sea at Aguilas in the other direction . Pulpi is a small town 10 minutes further inland from Javaria. Property in Javaria is much cheaper better value than places like Mar de Pulpi where you would have to pay expensive ongoing fees for a much lesser more expensive property. Incredible festivals are held in Javaria ,it is a very Spanish village . Residents mostly Spanish, some English, Dutch, Romanian,  German, Belgian. Check out the estate agent in Terreros near the main roundabout.
