Hi we are staying at our friends appartment at San Juan De Los Terreros in August. And we were flying into Almeria
I see a mini bus hire is about £250 - £300 return. Is there any cheaper options to this?

You could get a shuttle bus to mojacar then a taxi or bus. Should work out cheaper. I think as SJDLT increases in popularity there will be direct shuttles. Its expensive at the moment for transfers and not everyone likes hiring cars

Alernative might be to look at direct Almeria to San Juan bus route (actually A/C coach). Not frequent and thus may not be a good fit to flight arrivals and would require getting from Almeria airport into Almeria city.
This coach however also calls at Los Gallardos so possibly could use Exclusive Almeria to Mojacar airport shuttle as mentioned from Airport to Los Gallados and change there but may involve a wait.
