We always recommend one near Albox. It's Zurgena but may be a bit far. Remember to shop round. When we purchased a second property in Mojacar our Solicitor in Huercal Overa was 600€ less than Mr. Davies in Mojacar. Better advice too.

Thanks Bob and Sandra, yes MD was the first one we spoke to, coz of  recommendations. I was just trying to weigh his costs and services against any others anyone had.

What surprised us was the algorithm.

50%  up front

The fact the.figure.of 1600€ did not include transfer of utilities, IBI,etc. Each of those was an additional charge at 50-100€ each. Then we wanted to pay via a CHAPS transfer UK ACCT TO UK ACCOUNT & were counselled against. We actually did a CHAPS transfer which worked beautifully and with full agreement of Notary in Mojacar.

€1600? Lucky you, lol. Was it a sale day? Lol. €2400 was the quote we got. 

Dear Lord. Hence the need to shop around. Our Spanish chap was 1100€ all in. Rob in Los Gallardos recommends Mundi Abogardos at Bourganvillia roundabouut..We always recommend Amanda Oakley of Zurgena at ALO Services. Just send some e mails.

Yes, others have recommended Mundi. Costs seem good and reasonable and she gave a very detailed account of what their services included, unlike some of the others. I’ll email ALO Services.
