Hello dear fellow citizens - we are Germans and bought a house in Palomares Bajo in October and are very happy with it !! The place is great, the neighbors are „supernett“ and life there is fantastic !! But we have found that the quality of the water is not so good. No problem for shower, bathroom, washing and garden - but for the kitchen! On the one hand, we want to avoid plastic waste through purchased water and, on the other hand, avoid dragging water - we will not get younger !! We would therefore like to install a system in the kitchen, which allows us to filtrate water from the crane for cooking, drinking and coffee. So we are looking for a kind of filter system! Thankful for good advice - gladly also from suppliers of such systems. We are aware that a good system can cost up to € 1000 - but then we save over the years a lot of plastic! That's important to us! Sorry for my bad english but grateful for advice and love greetings

Angela

you can have an Osmosis system installed under your kitchen sink which has 3 filters to make the water drinkable.  The filters have to be changed every so often which is a pain but not that expensive.  also there is a system where 1 filter fits your tap but I've no experience of that.  you can have the large water bottle system delivered to your home and rent the dispenser but not sure what the costs are.

Hi Angela

We have a system from Brita that uses a single filter cartridge rather than three. Cheaper to change and uses less space in cupboard under sink. The version we have is the WD3030 which now seems to have been discontinued. There’s a similar option Brita Mypure P1 available on Amazon. Our system came with a single replacement tap that on one side produces filtered cold water and the other is a hit and cold unfiltered mixer the whole tap was then a replacement for the existing tap. This meant that we did not need two separate taps on sink. The new P1 system comes with a second tap fitting. You can though buy a similar dual option tap separately, link below shows one option available on Amazon.es. You can also source P1 system from same website.

Good morning. Ours was installed by Derek, whose number is 619877303, for under €100 and he changes the filters every 6 months. You'll never lug another 8 litre bottle!
