Hi is anyone aware of the new tourist licence required to advertise properties to let on trip advisor.  I have contacted the local tourist information who say I have to have one and need to complete several forms but won't send me them in English. Yes - You need a tourist license to advertise and rent out any holiday /short term rental property on any advertising portal.

It gives reassurence that the property is safe for the renters and it's illegal not to have one.

We got our lawyers at Mundi Abogados to apply for the short term rental licence for us for our Palomares property and it was all done with no hassle.

Prob best through a lawyer it doesn’t cost loads .

There’s a few hoops ya gotta jump through, ie air con and heating is prob the most expensive , unless u doe that of course, but loads of other stuff , we have our own we let out and several more we manage in palomares

2005 is a long time ago and the rules have changed due to the rise of AirBnB, booking.com etc.
