They do exist but I'm not willing to go to Benidorm or the like for them. 

There is a place in Javea actually called Fish n Chips or one town over in Moraira called Fishy Fishy that were good but alas it a 4 hour drive and as much as I love her I'll cook them myself first. 

Using Irish Maris Pipers, of course, from Iceland found that most Spanish potatoes do not make good thrice cooked chips but would rather just have them handed to me.

With the  amount of Brits living around here one would think there was somehwere that sold a proper single or one and one. 

As for the Brexit chips to much angst and hassle when dealing with the B word. 

Can't speak from experience but there is The Chippy at La Alfoquia. Looking at their facebook page it looks like they hand cut chips.

Chalotte's Bar in Albox hand cut chips.  They are very accommodation so worth messaging her to ask if she will do a 'special chip poke'.

Chips in Charlottes are fine. Not UK chip shop fine, but pretty good as are the chips in Nico’s in Alfoquia. Buy a deep fat fryer, fill it with lard and make your own if you want “home cooked” chips.
