Hi All,
Just arrived at house in Mojacar to find water disconnected. There was a new valve installed in front of the house and it was closed. All water bills are paid and have been for years - no prob there. Any ideas why this could happen (with no notice).

Galasa have an office on the outskirts of Vera, next to Bar La Brasa. You will need a translator as they will not help you otherwise. Other than that Google Galasa and get their contact number. Once again you will need a translator. Hopefully you will know your Suminestra or account number.
Your lawyer would have set up Galasa as part of their work on purchasing your property and they should help as required

When you say the new valve is closed do you mean this is closed by the lever near your water meter? This is how many people switch their water off as the shut off valves inside the house have a habit of snapping when used.
The lever next to your water meter should be paralel to the pipe for the water to flow, if its at a right angle to the pipe this is the off position.
