All I did was point out you had not read the lady's post properly - clearly, being advised you failed a 12 year olds level of comprehension test has upset you.

Where is the hole you speak of? Is it within your cranial cavity where the grey matter should be?

Or maybe your arachnoid membranes a bit dry, no worries plenty of water in your rivers.....

Incidentally, did you know the Almeria area is unique in the whole of Europe as the only area classified as a desert, yet you say France is better as it has big rivers!

Wonderful intellect you have - I applaud you ..... maybe your time might be better spent as a travel writer for lonely planet, or maybe not...

Hi

We went out to SPC in April, we saw 12 properties over the course of a week and bought one that is on season 2 episode 4 in Limaria.  All charges are explained on their website including taxes and the process of buying.  We should be finalising everything soon and will be out permanently by December. Excited.  Love the programme and trust Sharon and Steve to ensure that everything is legal.  We have a really good Spanish solicitor taking us through the process. That's a must when buying and always get a survey just as you would in the UK.

Loving forward to our move.

Susan

Steady now it appears you are a tad upset ,take a seat in the garden and look at the baron mountains that abound down there and contemplate your future

Raygil .... I get you had a bad experience in Almería for the short time you were here, and for you, France is the place to be ... but this is now the second post of yours, posted all in caps I have seen, trying to tell everyone how terrible the place is.

Here’s a clue.  It isn’t.  It is only your perception of it that makes it so bad.  Whilst you may find your niche in France, others find that here suits them much better - having lived in a wide variety of places around the world, I can honestly say that Spain is where I want to spend the rest of my days.  Whilst you appear to see a barren desert wasteland, I see the stark majestic beauty of the mountains.  And not everywhere is barren.  Where I live I am surrounded by lush greenery, trees and grass..

Like I said, you didn’t have a good time here - but don’t try and spoil it for everyone else by continuing to post your negative impressions of this beautiful area.  Not everyone wants to follow your dream - many people have dreams of their own - please, allow them their dreams.  If you find Almería so distasteful, prefer where you live in France and never intend to return here, one has to question why you are posting on on the Almería forum - one suspects it is simply to get your message out that you don’t like Almería.  That is your opinion, and you are entitled to it - but please let the rest of us enjoy the lives we continue to build for ourselves.  Long may you enjoy France - but for all it’s stated benefits, it is not for me thank you; Southern Spain is still where I call home and I believe always will be.

Saludos, Darío
