Shays Sunday lunch

Hi,

If.you read the Tripadvisor feedbacks you think you are in for a real treat. We went with friends one Sunday and it was the worse meal we have EVER had in Mojacar. Awful access, poor parking if any and diabolical food & service. If we hadn't.been invited by friends then would.have.become vociferous. Another overrated Brit hangout. 

Up to you.but we wouldn't go again even.if the meal was free!!!!!

Yes, it is. We have been very often and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking is not so good, it is true, but nothing can really be done about that. Shea himself will come and chat to you - such a gentleman - and the atmosphere is excellent. 

Had Shea known the views of Col Bob he would have been horrified, but if you don't say, they don't know.

Try it for yourself and make up your own mind. It would be interesting to see what you think.

We feel exactly the same as Bob n Sandra but you must try for yourself we all have different tastes and ideas.

Shea's restaurant in La Parata is superb.A bit off the beaten track. So go easy on the vino if driving.Food is of ahigh standard,always tasty,well presented and well priced.Shea is a great host and makes a special effort to meet and greet customers and make them feel comfortable.I dont know how anybody could suggest it to be a typical Brit hangout.Shea is Irish,a proud Dubliner-Belvo boy!!
