Ah - many thanks for proving I’m not Xenophobic then - that clears that up and finally puts the nonsense to rest. Beings I am one of those “people from another country” I’d have to hate myself for the above to be even remotely true and, I can assure you, I definitely don’t 😁
I have nothing against Brit homeowners having better access and as I have pointed out, a route already exists for that - get an NLV which is good for up to 12 months and don’t renew. It’s a *path* to residency if desired - but residency is not obligatory.
But there are some who wholeheartedly supported Brexit, claimed they understood what it meant, but are now complaining about access to second homes … this is what you voted for. If you got what you want, why are you now complaining about losing something you were apparently prepared to happily sacrifice?
