Thanks for the Info, I will definitely consider this place, it is in the ideal location.

We travel your route twice a year, we like to get south of Madrid and head for the Moya, plenty of free parking which is patrolled at night. four hours the next day and we are in Vera, next to Mojacar.

We are in the Parador Albacete now after driving from Santander today, 7h 35m driving time with two stops for breaks. I used to do the whole journey in one day but not now at my age, I am pretty tired tonight. We came straight through Burgos instead of following the New Autovia complex round the town which took ages last September. No problem at all, it is dual carriageway right through with a few sets of traffic lights and easy roundabouts to negotiate. Agree with the comment about the Parador’s evening meal. We have given it a miss for years and usually eat in the bar which is better value and adequate with a one night stopover.

Thanks for the info, we have just booked into the Parador at Albacete.

Can't wait to get back out to Mojacar
