Spanish Driving License-Solicitor Fees

CATS Services in Alfoquia charge 45E per person or 75E for a couple, we are doing ours at the moment

Is that the Total fee for the paperwork once you hand.in the Medical????

No need for Spanish driving licence if you are not resident your uk licence is good enough however if you are resident then you will need your Spanish licence.If you live in Spain more than 182 days a year consistently you should apply for residency if you are 65+ then you need S1 from UK to claim for medical services in Spain if you are under 65 then you need proof of private medical cover unless you are on qualified benefits you need to apply through works and pensions UK, you will also need to prove your income for your stay in Spain and register for tax whether you are resident or non resident.

Paid €45 for medical & €80 assesor doesn't matter which province you do it in as it's national, only difference would be prices!!

Oh dear! Vera vision do the lot for you on one visit. Couldn't be easier.

Medical, test, renew licence, temporary licence whilst your new licence is processed and is returned by signature delivery. Cannot remember exact cost but less than fifty I think it was around 43€ but infinitely cheaper and easier than running around different agencies.

Thanks. Have messaged them as have already obtained Medicals for Sandra & myself.

One woman at the Garrucha Clinic had been quoted 200€ to process AFTER the medical!!!!!!!

Vera Vision can renew an existing Spanish licence all in one go, but can only do medical if it’s an exchange of UK for Spanish - then you have to go to Almería and see Tráfico with all the required documentation to get your temp Spanish licence
