French Crit Air car sticker.

I bet no-one Knows the answer to this?

I have a Golf originally registered in the UK but now in Spain on spanish plates.

I intend to drive through France and need a "critair" sticker to go through the environmental area of Rouen

If I appy from UK using the original UK reg document will the sticker be valid as the reg will now be different?

If I apply from Spain do I have to email my Spanish Documents - this could be difficult as I do not have a scanner in Spain and last time I got a crit air sticker for a motorhome the French website kept refusing my email as the attached scan was too big - I had to keep scanning on a lower and lower pixel resolution untill it would be accepted.

Dont you just love progress -- Oh I had better see if the Correos have got any Spain eco-stickers as well, wont be able to see out of the windscreen soon!

I’ve just purchased a crit-air sticker on my phone. When filling in the form there are only 2 options: French registered cars and everyone else! I took a photo of my vehicle log book then using google I looked for “changing j.peg to pdf”. Upload your photo to the site and get it converted for free. Then download it back to your phone and attach to crit-air form. I paid with PayPal as I’m wary of giving sites my bank details. Under €5 and posted to my home.

Thanks for that - I am coming over to Mojacar next week and will try that.

It sounds sounds the similar to the procedure I went through before but now it seems to accept the pdf, perhaps the system has been upgraded to accept larger files or perhaps the info on the Spanish log book is less so the pdf will be smaller.

I will find out next week!

Your crit air sticker must have the same registration number on it as what is on the vehicle. It is valid for the entire life of the vehicle unless the number plate gets changed.
