Take a look at the Ayuntamiento de Mojácar  website - you may find an option there as car tax is local, not national.

My registration is in a village of 850 people where my Ayuntamiento was and fortunately the nice people there send me the form by email. The form then has to be paid and you can do this by taking it to a bank. It seems that the banking system to pay car tax is limited to certain times of the morning. Although in theory you can pay at an ATM that allows bills to be paid I usually can not do it this way and just go to the bank. I have also tried the national system but that failed in my case too.

Please let us know how you get on because I will have the same situation come April?

I also went to the office on the Playa in front of the big marina hotel with blue "bottles" on roof. They can also arrange annual direct debit.
