Car hire from Corvera - Page 2

We have used Centauro about a dozen times in @18 months and never had any problems with them. I have an annual UK insurance policy for @£50 which covers excesses when driving abroad so that insurance makes hiring much cheaper.  I have noticed that in the past 6 months or so the Centauro reception desk are pushing their full insurance a lot more but accept when you decline their offer. If you do not take their extra insurance you have to put a deposit of €1200 down on credit card but that is immediately refunded when you bring back the car. If I did have any issues or claim I would just claim on my UK policy. Overall a good service at Centauro.

We used Centauro the tine before last, they were great, but this time the other deal was a lot better - we are a bit faithless and shop around- parking, flights, car hire- every visit.

I always buy an annual excess cover in britain. I always use Centauro never had a problem. The only problem I had was booking through a 3rd party and the actual car hire company insisted on doubling the cost because of age. They added a premium to anyone over 70. Most companies use 75 as a cut off point
