After asking if I can travel from Serena near Bedar to go to My nearest Mercadona supermarket in Mojacar. I received this reply this morning from Mojacar town Hall. “Dear sir, it is not allowed to leave your Municipality to make the purchase. Indeed, the police can fine you, because the law of the state of alarm clearly says that we must buy in the closest place to our home. You should not go to Garrucha, or Turre, or Vera ... Antas or Mojácar. We hope you are in great health”

Hi I live in Los Gallardos and have been using Mercadona & Iceland in Vera every 7/10 days since lockdown. I have been stopped twice by National Police & Guardia Both have asked where i was going & where I lived & told to carry on. Hope this helps

I know everyone is doing it and I’ve been going to Mercadona once a week on a Friday but I’m worried as the Mayor states. It’s the law,that we shouldn’t and if I get Victor Meldrew ,well it’s an expensive risk. Thanks though

I live in the municipal area of Sorbas but on the very edge to the south. It's quicker for me to shop in Campohermoso than over an arduous mountain road to Sorbas. This week I was stopped by the Guardia Civil who asked why I didn't shop in Sorbas as he didn't know my hamlet by name or that Sorbas covers a large area, but when finally I showed him on the map where I live, he accepted the logic.
