Is there any recent news about tests flying into UK ? I’ve had 2 vacs so do I need a PCR or antigen test?

Yes. You need either a PCR or Antigen test maximum 48 hours before you flight departs.

The Government originally said 48 hours pre-departure, you are right, but actually then published that it can be done any time during the 2 DAYS before departure.  Ryanair also say this on their website and let me on at Barcelona on Thursday with a test done 52 hours pre-departure (as it was a public holiday this Wednesday).  I did the PCR when I arrived at the airport on Tuesday with Eurofins Megalab - there is also one I think at Alicante - good service, results back via the app within 12 hours or so, I would recommend it.  I believe that you can just do the Antigen, again contrary to what the UK government said initially, but have not checked that.
