Be aware that the test kits supplied in the UK are no good for the pre flight (Spain to UK) test or the day 2 (UK) test. A shame as they are free in the UK. Annoying, that's for sure.

Oh thanks for informing me so do I need a private test kit I need to purchase here in Spain to take with me in my luggage to return to the uk

This is getting complicated
You have to get an antigen test done at a clinic in Spain and then they give you the results which you have to show before you board your flight in Spain and on arrival in the UK.

I’m staying near the oasis hotel in Mojacar are you aware if any chemists test do them near there or would you advise me to buy a private antigen kit here to take with me

You need a pre flight test, obviously locally. You will also need (at least) a day 2 test for the UK and be able to supply the test details on the form. This test can be done from arrival in the UK up to day 2.

Hi again the two local test centres I am aware of are the chemist in Mojacar, just up from the Commercial Centre, same side, just before Currencies Direct €50, and EV Medical by the Bull ring in Vera €40.

I think Vera is further but would be the best option and I believe €30 alot cheaper

if you are travelling to the UK the antigen test is also valid which costs 40 euro at the ev medical centre in Vera they also do the PCR test 140 euro and I think the results are in 48 hours. There is a place also in mojacar where they do the antigen test under the farmacy next to the unicaja ban...

I have tried to book a PCR test at EV medical in vera. they only do tests Mon.- Fri. mornings. our flight is monday evening so we would be out of time if we had our test there.

I flew in yesterday.
Well that didn’t work…
I flew in yesterday I have both jabs and all I needed to produce was the Spanish health form and proof of my vaccines.
