Hello,

Many apologies, I do not have an answer for you, but I do have a question.

We arrived on the 9th of December, we are still waiting for our registration to go through. Apparently, although it normally only takes a maximum of 3 months, they are still quite behind on all applications they received before 31 December.

Neither my wife or I have had our vaccines. I am 60, and considered by the NHS as an at risk adult.

From reading through this post, it looks like you have to be on the national Spanish database before you receive your invitation, or indeed before you could just turn up?

I was born in 1960, so from this it looks like I could get my vaccination. Do I have to be on the database before turning up? If I do need to be on the database, how do I go about doing that?

Many thanks in advance for any help or advice posted.

We are in a similar position to you. Print and fill in this FORM and take to your local health centre. You’ll be contacted when it’s your turn. They don’t like ringing U.K. mobiles so hopefully you have a Spanish landline or mobile.

Hi Kerry,

Thanks so much for this info and pointer to the form. I’m on it today - either that or my wife will chew my ears off!

Have a great day.

Hi, my mum was in the same situation as you, private healthcare and  got on public health data base the day before her age group were being vaccinated. I took her on the day her age group was being given the vaccine and they gave it to her no questions asked.

Hi

We are new to the area and have private health insurance, how can we join the public health data base please? So we can get our Covid vaccinations.

Thanks in advance

So I now have a call for my jab on Thurs at Huercal Overa. My hubby has offered to chauffeur me in the hope he might get vaccinated as he missed the original call for 1957 which was some time ago.

Will let you know what transpires 😘K

I have received my first vaccine.  All very easy and well organised.  They tell you not to arrive early and that resulted in a bit of a wait as most others had clearly ignored the instructions.

No way were they going to vaccinate hubby but in hindsight that may be because if they had and all who were invited turned up they would be short of a vaccine.

Not received anything about a 2nd dose although reading the covid info on Facebook this may come from the health centre.   Best bit, aside from my nurse using my arm for darts practise no ill effects and was able to go to the gym and do a full workout.  Happy days 👋👋👋

I went with a temporary medical cover, which I got from my local medical centre in velez Rubio, I am still waiting for residence in Spain.

They where doing my age group, but I didn't get a text or any thing else to say go, but I turned up with my husband ,all though I got a look they put us on list and gave us jab.

We are 70 and 69
