If I fly back to Birmingham airport after the quarantine is introduced, I would have to get a train from Birmingham International to New street station, and from there to my destination, this would take over two hours. Having come from an area with thankfully few cases, I would then have to self isolate for 14 days.

Does this make sense to anybody

Not to me.   I’ve a feeling Spain, France ,Germany and such like may come to a deal. If these countries are getting back to normal quicker than the U.K. why wouldn’t they ,or Brits returning from these countries be allowed in without self isolation.  It would make more sense and start the economy growing again. However how do you know who got connecting flights etc from badly infected countries. May be too difficult to control.   I depend on tourism for my bed and breakfast business in Scotland . I don’t want to rush home or even want tourists from God knows where. The first guests we received when SARS broke out were from China !    🙈

Yes it does. If we don't comply there'll be a second peak...

I think the UK is doing a pretty good job of potential bringing on a second wave, by letting people travel all over the country for day trips, should have closed its borders in March

I quite agree. People wandering about as if it's over. I've not been out for 8 weeks and got another 4 to go as I'm 71 have diabetes and asthmatic. I'm really scared to go out. Yet my neighbour has her boyfriend over to stay she goes to his to stay and in the week she had friends over for drinks. I don't understand what people don't understand about stay at home.

Idiots.    As long as you are safe that’s the main thing.

Not much of BoJo’s stuff makes sense and he pays lip service to scientists at best.

On the plus side, at least all the conspiracy theorists have done one.

Could you explain what that last bit meant please. I couldn’t see any connection to the posts. Did I miss something.
