My wife and I have just retired and we're toying with buying a place to escape the rainy UK in Jan, Feb and maybe March each year. My wife is not so keen on me buying somewhere as we've already got houses in France, Ireland and England. So we are looking to offer our services to look after a place during those months or for part of them. I know the weather isn't great in Almeria during those months but it looks to be dryer than the UK. Please contact us if you've any ideas. All things considered!

If you already have three houses, how about renting out one or two of those, and that will finance renting a house of your choice in Spain ( not mine!) - helping an owner whose income has reduced because of the difficulty of renting due to Covid? sorry, you did ask...

If you do not find anything in next couple months, please come back to me as hoping to buy house next to ours, just outside of Lubrin. But going thru the process at the mo. So can’t say anything definite at the mo

Hi Peter. You may or may not have looked into joining a house sitting agency, quite a few about. You then have a worldwide choice. Good luck.
