1. Is there much crime there? - No more, no less than in any other town in Spain.
2. Are there many brits there? - Yes and most add to the colour of the area.
3. Is it a nice place to live? - Yes.
4.Is it prone to flooding? - No
5. What are the local golf courses like? - Within 5 miles there are good holiday golf courses. Travel to Desert Springs near Vera and you have an excellent Championship course - don't play there unless you're good.
Any other comments:- Los Gallardos is a few miles inland from Mojacar Playa. Therefore, a good resort is within a few minutes drive. Cabo de Gata Natural Parc is on the doorstep of Los Gallardos. Property there is not the most expensive in the area and is in demand. I would say Los Gallardos has grown in size in the past ten years. You have a choice of airports (i) Almeria (ii) Alicante (iii) Murcia International. Don't discount the value of your property increasing after the new rail-line comes into operation - 5 years minimum down the line (pun intended). If you want me to say something contrá I think it has more Brexiteers than Sunderland.
