Looking to buy a motorbike for transport while I'm on holiday over there this winter, January. 125 cc as only have normal bike licence. A bike which is road legal, so me and my wife can pop to the shops or the beach. Cheap and cheerful, and reliable please?
You dont sound aware of how cold it can get in january! Sod being on a motorbike,never mind the beach!!

In Britain, I used to have a trail bike and most Sundays, in winter, a group of us would go ‘green laneing’. Winter was the best time for this pastime; we just made sure that we were well wrapped up.
Over here of course, unless you ride way up into the mountains, the temperatures are going to be rather better than in Britain.
Sorry, I don’t know where you would get a bike from, but good luck.

Thanks for a decent reply. I ride all winter in uk, green laning too on weekends, great fun., so sure it wouldn’t be too bad there, like you said ! I’ll probably hire a car for now but was just thinking ahead, as my caravan is there for next few years yet!
